Follow the Yellow Brick Road

pexels-loc-dang-1905054Poetry about the self and stillness in the modern world.

With thanks to Loc Dang for use of the header image (uncropped version available in link).

What are you doing
Where are you going
Why are you trying to run
Whatever happened to
Sitting still and breathing
No
Don’t look at the phone
That isn’t me time
But them
Where they want to take you
Underhanded salesmen
Wizards of Oz
Hiding behind the cowardly
Yellow brick road of content
Keeping you on their track

Thanks for reading 🙂
