Doughnut in the Sky with Contradictions

Poetry without comment beyond thanks to Kenny Kennethh for use of the header image of a solitary doughnut (licensing).

Seeing it in pictures now
A great big doughnut
On a spike in the sky
It feels like I was never really there
Stood on the ground
Looking up at it
But I was
And truth be told
I do remember
Being so at night
Vividly
So what is this
Converse situation
Going on
Inside of me
Once familiar
Walked on every week
Today like vague moments
Stolen from
Someone else’s dream

Thanks for reading 🙂
