If I Were You

sun2Home truths aplenty guaranteed!

With thanks to D. D. Buck^ for use of the header image.

If I were you
I wouldn’t be me
So smoking wouldn’t matter
Nor drinking
Taking drugs
Or getting fatter
All the things
I tell you not to do
If I were you
Well
It just isn’t true
For if I were you
Risks would be taken
Left, right and centre
Parachuting
Extremely high diving
Then mountains of French fries
Followed fast
By ice-cream and pizza
Safe in the knowing
Any mistake making
Is your tab to be paying
If I were you
I wouldn’t lend my body
To someone like me

Thanks for reading 🙂
