Poetry without comment beyond sincere thanks to Anastasia Shuraeva for the image x
Why is the world only full of bad news?
Nothing ever good
Oh yeah, but what about
Christmas, you say
Except that’s all made up
Created in defiance
Of the drudge and dredge
Belonging to that time of year
Tell me about something
Good and true
Definable by fact
And not some simple simile
Like you’re here now
Because I’ll be gone tomorrow
Thanks for reading 🙂
